Are you missing out on free, well-informed advice?

If you are looking for someone with a critical, yet well-informed view of your organization, you would do well to systematically survey newish hires. Not brand new hires, who are still trying to figure things out, but individuals who have completed your initial onboarding program and are starting to contribute to the organization. They know enough about your processes but have not yet embraced all your quirks–and are able to point out what’s strange, difficult, or plain wrong. Ask them for their opinion!

(This is also a great opportunity to get their feedback about the onboarding program.)
